For those who aren't Jess (who enthused to me) and Naranater (who has had both me and Jess enthusing at him), both of whom have already seen (at least part of) it, everyone absolutely must see Wonderfalls. It is one of the funniest and most poignant television shows I have ever seen. For those who care about these things, Tim Minear is connected to it as an executive producer (Minear being one of the creators of Firefly and a director/writer on Angel).
The show itself is set in Niagara Falls and revolves around a girl to whom inanimate objects start talking, giving her cryptic... err... advice on how to help other people. If she doesn't follow their advice, they have a tendency towards being insistent, and keeping her up all night by singing. She has a very peculiar family relationship and a guy chasing her who walked out on his new wife during their honeymoon when he walked in on her going down on a bellboy in their hotel room. Trust me, it's well worth the watching.
